What are your hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
If you need to pick up outside of regular store hours, we have a secure locker system where we can place your order. Please use the “add order notes” button to let us know before going through the checkout and we will send you a code once your order is ready to be picked up.
Is your wheat Organic or sprayed with chemicals?
Our heritage grains listed as "Certified Organic" come from farms that strictly follow organic certification protocols.
All our other grains are grown right here in Lacombe County. While not certified organic, they are grown as cleanly as possible. They are never sprayed with glyphosate, herbicides, or insecticides during the growing season. Because we don't use herbicides the fields often have healthy weeds growing alongside the grain. We thoroughly clean the grain before it is bagged so it’s ready to use for milling, sprouting or cooking right out of the package.
Are your grains non-GMO?
Yes! All wheat, barley, oats, peas, lentils, millet, and heritage grains grown in North America are non-GMO. In Canada, GMO technology is currently only used for corn, soybeans, canola, sugar beets, and alfalfa. You can learn more about this on the Canadian Biotechnology Action Network website.
How much does shipping cost?
Finding your shipping rate is easy! Simply add your items to the online cart and proceed to checkout. Once you enter your address, you’ll see several courier options and prices. You don’t need to enter any credit card information to see these rates, so feel free to explore your options with no obligation. Rates can vary daily.
Why don’t you offer free shipping?
We prefer to keep our product prices as low as possible for everyone. Rather than including shipping costs inside the price of our products, we pass the direct cost on to you.
Do you have a storefront, or is it just a warehouse?
We’d love to see you! We have a beautiful retail store where you can browse all our products in person. Stop by and enjoy a complimentary coffee while you shop.
I ordered a few items but only one box arrived. Where is the rest of my order?
This happens occasionally with larger orders. It’s completely normal to receive your order in separate deliveries. Large orders are packaged into multiple boxes and they can sometimes get separated once they leave our warehouse. Sometimes boxes arrive a day or two apart.
